Fortnite Locations: Where to plant Wiretaps to Complete Legendary Quest

Epic Games is continuing with the alien invasion storyline for the 8th week of Fortnite. This week, Dr, Slone has identified that there is a mole within the IO, helping the aliens to stay one step ahead. As a result, this week’s challenges are focused on helping Slone to find this rogue agent. In order to complete this, we will first have to obtain access cards from the IO guards and then plant wiretaps to zero in on the mole.

There are a total of 15 wiretap locations across the Fortnite map. This consists of five major towns with three wiretap locations each. However, for this challenge, you will only be required to plant three of them.

Where can you plan wiretaps in Fortnite

The major locations include:

Lazy Lake
Bunker entrance east of Catty Corner
IO satellite station near the center of the map
IO satellite station west of Dirty Docks
IO satellite station west of Steamy Stacks

Out of these locations, planting the wires at Catty Corner should be the easiest as it is on the outskirts of the map, not a popular landing location. The first wiretap location within Catty Corner is next to the building with the automatic gate on the western side of the main road. Next, you can plant wires underneath the staircase of the bunker entrance. Lastly, you can plant them by the bigger set of rocks near the chain-link fence.

Lazy Lake holds three houses where you can plant the wiretaps. These include the Southeast house, West of the pool, the Southeast house, and the house just north of the beach.

Alternatively, you can visit one of the three IO satellite stations. Here, you can plant one wire at the base of the main satellite dish. In addition to this, you can plant two more wires at the base of any radio antenna.

It seems like the entire season will soon culminate in a final showdown between the aliens and the IO. Do you think that Fortnite island will be successful in its battle against alien invaders? Or will Epic Games beak fans hearts and destroy some of our favorite characters. Let us know in the comments down below.
