Limp Bizkit’s Fred Durst left his Instagram followers with their jaws on the floor after he revealed his new look online.

The nu-metal band’s frontman drew attention on Wednesday after he deleted all his previous Instagram posts and shared a selfie of himself sporting a surprising rebrand.

Throughout his career, the vocalist has become instantly recognizable thanks to his usual combination of a shaven head, bushy beard, and a backward baseball cap.

However, the star has opted to transform his look in recent years as he showcased a head full of hair and a well-groomed mustache.

‘thinking about you 70′, he captioned the image.

Fans instantly shared their reactions in the comments, with many claiming the musician now looked like many other famous men in the industry.

‘S**t, I thought Richard Gere popped up from outta nowhere 😂,’ another commented.

One fan added: ‘😂😂thought it was David spade for a second 😂’.

After retreating from the music scene, Fred returned to the spotlight in 2018 to direct a semi-autobiographical film named Moose in 2018, which he co-wrote about a run-in with an obsessed stalker.

The film starred John Travolta, who plays a man who becomes obsessed with action star Hunter Dunbar after a bad meeting with the actor and becomes unhinged.

Meanwhile, Limp Bizkit are set to drop a new album and have embarked on a string on US show ahead of two dates set for the UK in 2022.
