TV director David Von Ancken has died aged 56.

According to Variety, the Seraphim Falls director died at his home in Agoura Hills, California following a two-year battle with aggressive stomach cancer.

Known lovingly as ‘DVA’, the prolific director worked on a multitude of famous TV shows as well as several film projects.
