The White Lotus is a satirical new TV show that is slowly but surely making waves on the internet, and soon it will be available to watch in the UK.
The satirical comedy-drama follows a group of rich white individuals and their guests who are deemed financially inferior visitors at a namesake luxurious Hawaiian resort.
While it isn’t available in the UK as of yet, it’s on its way, and it features an impressive cast.
Here is everything you need to know about the thrilling new show ahead of its release.
What is the plot of The White Lotus?
Created, written, and directed by Mike White (School of Rock), The White Lotus is a social satire set at an exclusive Hawaiian resort.

The miniseries follows the vacations of various hotel guests over the span of a week as they relax and rejuvenate in paradise. But with each passing day, a darker complexity emerges in these picture-perfect travellers, the hotel’s cheerful employees, and the idyllic locate itself. As the show progresses, tensions quickly arise between the hotel staff and the volatile vacationers.
Each episode in this six-part limited series is an hour long. The first episode is titled New Day, the second Mysterious Monkeys and episode three is Recentering.
We also know that the following episodes are called The Lotus-Eaters, with the finale entitled Departures.

Who is in the cast of White Lotus?
The White Lotus has an impressive cast, as it stars the likes of Legally Blond’s Jennifer Coolidge, Nashville and Dirty John actress Connie Britton, and Australian actor Murray Bartlett.
The series also stars Baywatch’s Alexandra Daddario, Modern Family’s Steve Zahn and Euphoria’s Sydney Sweeney.
Fred Hechinger, Jake Lacy, Brittany O’Grady, Natasha Rothwell, Molly Shannon, Jon Gries, Jolene Purdy, Kekoa Kekumano and Lukas Gage also star in the series.

When is White Lotus released in the UK? Date and how to watch
Mike’s satire debuted on July 11 on HBO. While HBO is not available in the UK as a broadcast channel, UK viewers can access HBO shows through both Sky and NOW TV.
The show will be available to stream with a NOW Entertainment Membership on August 16.
The White Lotus will launch on NOW August 16.
