WWE and Snoop Dogg are Back in Business Again for SummerSlam 2021

Snoop Dogg, without a shadow of a doubt, is one of the most popular celebrities to set foot in WWE. Throughout the years, Snoop has made many cameos in WWE, ranging from Raw to the grandest stage of all, WrestleMania.

There is no doubt Snoop adds star power to whatever he is associated with. WWE recently capitalized on this and included him in their official mobile game. Snoop is now a playable character in WWE Champions 2021.

PWInsider reported the WWE’s official statement on the subject. It stated,

“Today WWE Champions 2021, the #1 most-downloaded WWE mobile game by Scopely, kicks-off a multi-week countdown to SummerSlam with an in-game event hosted by WWE Hall of Famer Snoop Dogg.

“The in-game features an all-new 1990s Snoop Dogg joining WWE Champions’ roster of more than 300 WWE Superstars and Legends in the game.”

The multiple Grammy-nominated singer isn’t the only one getting a special edition of himself. His cousin and former WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks is also included in the list.

The fans are positively riled up following the news of Snoop Dogg’s re-collaboration with WWE. Especially since he was last seen on WWE’s rival company, All Elite Wrestling.

WWE or AEW? Which side is Snoop Dogg on?

The fans are wondering which company Snoop Dogg supports. To be fair, we don’t think Snoop knows the intense rivalry between the two promotions. He is just a wrestling fan, like all of us, and enjoys being at the forefront of the action.

Just because he featured on WWE first, didn’t stop him from featuring in AEW. But since wrestling fans know the rivalry between the two companies, some assume Snoop is picking sides. Hence, they were surprised when WWE broke the news.

“Come with me and WWE as we jam towards SummerSlam,” said Snoop Dogg. “Which Snoop will you put in the ring? Whether you pick the young OG or the current me, it’s going to be a good time for fans of WWE and the Doggfather.”
