***Warning: Spoilers ahead for episode 4 of the Gossip Girl reboot ***
Gossip Girl has already had more twists and turns than fans could ever have expected the reboot series continues to delight on HBO Max.
Fans are once again obsessed with the scandalous lives of the new iteration of New York’s elite, especially the complicated feud between Zoya Lott (Whitney Peak) and Julien Calloway (Jordan Alexander).
After a constant back and forth in the first four episodes, it seems the half-sisters are finally ready to move forward as friends.
However, we can help but wonder how long peace can last when the likes of Monet de Haan (Savannah Lee Smith), Luna La (Zion Moreno), and Gossip Girl have their own agenda.
Here’s all the question we need answered in episode five…
Maybe now they can enjoy the relationship they hoped for at the start of the season (Picture: HBO Max / YouTube)
Is the feud really over between Zoya and Julien?
The scene of the two celebrating Zoya’s birthday together and acting like loving sisters almost feels too good to be true?
Will these two finally be able to communicate properly so they can stop getting caught up in a random feud thanks to other people’s interference? We can only hope so.
It would be great to see the girls (and their dads) learning to become one unique, blending family and working together to overcome the grief of their dead mother.
That’s if Gossip Girl doesn’t find a way to drop yet another bomb that will mess things up.
What’s the deal with Monet and Luna?
Monet and Luna probably won’t make that easy (Picture: HBO Max)
The girls also have to worry about the fact Monet and Luna cannot stand the effect Zoya is having on Julien’s views about being an influencer.
We’ve learned that the pair’s very intense focus on Julien’s success is partly down to their hopes of getting work for their part as her publicist and stylist.
However, we still have a few questions about why they need Julien to ‘be back on top’ so bad?
They’re both stylish and must have a decent following of their own, so why not just become stars themselves?
Also, where are their parents? And why does Monet hate the idea of working with her mom so much?
Will Rafa and Max get in trouble for hooking up?
Max Wolfe (Thomas Doherty) finally got the teacher, which is guaranteed to cause some problems somewhere down the line.
Rafa Caparros (Jason Gotay) isn’t one of the teachers who brought Gossip Girl back to life but he knows exactly who they are.
As proven in episode three, Kate Keller (Tavi Gevinson) and her crew are happy to take another teacher down when push comes to shove – but would they ruin Rafa’s life and career by posting about him and Max?
Time will tell…
Can we get a Georgina Sparks cameo, please?
Getting to see Georgina’s brainiac son was the perfect treat in this episode, especially since he was using his powers to cause chaos. His mama would be so proud!
However, we hope Georgina (Michelle Trachtenberg) might make an appearance at the next parent-teacher conference or something so we can get an update on what’s happened to one of the OG show’s most loved characters.

Milo might not have been Dan Humphrey’s real son but do the pair have a relationship anyway? Maybe the original Gossip Girl can also make a little cameo with Milo’s help.
Gossip Girl drops Thursdays on HBO Max in the US. It will air on BBC in the UK later this year.
