Love Island 2021: Faye Winter veers away from Teddy Soares to share bed with Sam Jackson ahead of Casa Amor recoupling

Is there any chance of happiness down the line for Teddy and Faye? (Picture: ITV)

It seems that Faye Winter’s head might be turned before Teddy Soares returns to the main villa from Casa Amor, as tonight’s episode of Love Island will see her sharing a bed with Sam Jackson.

Last night on the ITV2 show, the girls in the main villa received a bombshell in the form of a savage postcard, which showed a glimpse of what the boys have been up to with the new islanders in Casa Amor.

The picture of Teddy showed him locking lips with Clarisse Juliette, but without the context of the fact that they kissed during a game, much to the fury of viewers.

Having become vulnerable with Teddy over the past couple of weeks, Faye was evidently distraught to have opened up to him while she imagines him cracking on with someone else behind her back.

Following the arrival of the postcard, having previously admitted doubts over her compatibility with Teddy due to his calm demeanour, Faye now appears to be open to getting to know newcomer Sam, who’s admitted he’s interested in her.

During tonight’s episode, Faye has a one-on-one with Sam on the swings, asking him: ‘Do you want long-term then?’

‘Definitely. I’m not settling until I get what I want and I know what I want,’ he replies.

Faye then asks Sam what he wants, but before he responds, she adds: ‘Come back to me later.’

‘Are you sleeping in my bed tonight?’ Sam asks, to which Faye says: ‘No, I’m sleeping in my bed. I don’t know who is in my bed. Harry? You’ll have to tell him he’s got to move out.’

As their conversation draws to a close, Faye tells him: ‘It’s been a pleasure. I’ll see you in bed.’

Having slept on the day beds since the boys left for Casa Amor – unaware that Teddy is doing the same thing – tonight Faye will share a bed with Sam for the first time.

The next morning, Sam admits it took him by surprise, stating: ‘When I woke up this morning, I was like I did not know I could be in this situation.’

Just as Faye is starting to develop a closer connection with Sam, she and the rest of the girls are going to have to decide if they wish to couple up with one of the new boys ahead of a dramatic recoupling ceremony.

The recoupling ceremony, which will see the return of presenter Laura Whitmore, will also determine whether the boys in Casa Amor are going to bring one of the new girls back from Casa Amor or stick with who they were coupled up with before.

Something tells us a whole lot of truths are going to be spilled. Better get the mop.

Love Island returns tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and is available to watch on ITV Hub.
