Love Island’s Lucinda Strafford says her romance with Aaron Francis is OVER and claims she’s not dating footballer

LOVE Island’s Lucinda Strafford has poured cold water on any romance with Aaron Francis after they were both dumped from the villa.

The pair were just beginning to warm up before they got the boot, but now it looks like they’re going to be too busy to make things work back home.

In an interview with the Mail, Lucinda explained: “We’ll definitely meet up, but whether it’s a date… we’re unsure what’s going to happen romantically between us, because we haven’t been able to properly see each other, and we’re both going to be busy because we have busy schedules going on so, if it’s not romantically we’ll be really good friends.”

Before Aaron, Lucinda was coupled up with Brad McClelland and she revealed they have been texting too – and she’s keen to meet up.

They were forced apart due to a cruel twist in which they had to decide which of them should go home.

Brad chivalrously sacrificed himself leaving Lucinda free to explore her Love Island journey.

The Brighton beauty also insists she’s not in a relationship with her footballer ex Aaron Connolly.

The Premier League star has been dog-sitting for her while she’s away, and she’s adamant they’re just pals.

“I am completely and utterly single,” said Lucinda. “Never in a million years would I go on Love Island if I was in a relationship, and I’m sure if I had a boyfriend, he wouldn’t be very happy with it either.

“We ended quite dramatically at the start of March but then we made friends, and we share a dog, it’s a shared dog and he’s been looking after it.”
