Maisie Williams has already discussed marriage with her boyfriend Reuben Selby.

The couple have been together for three years, having met when Maisie was co-founding her talent discovery start-up Daisie, and it seems that they could be meeting at the altar soon.

Maisie, 24, was a guest on the Table Manners podcast with Jessie Ware, when talk turned to her own table manners.

Jessie asked whether she had good table manners, with the Game of Thrones star saying: ‘My boyfriend would say no. He’s very good, he’s amazing. I am like, the messy one. Once I licked my knife and he was really upset about it.

‘His family just raised him very nicely. Four boys, they had to get him in shape.’

Jessie’s mother Lennie asked how long they had been together, and when Maisie replied ‘three years’, Lennie quipped: ‘You’re almost married.’

Maisie said: ‘Yeah, we’re getting there, one day, maybe. Reuben, if you’re listening! Joking. Yeah, I think so.’

Lennie then asked who would design her wedding dress, with Maisie replying: ‘He will’ – leading to the hosts gasping.

Jessie asked if they had already had the discussion, with the actress saying ‘yes’.

Reuben, 23, previously served as communications director for Daisie for over a year, and has also founded his own modelling agency and a creative agency.

Not content with that, he is also a fashion designer, having launched his own label over lockdown and showed his second collection at London Fashion Week earlier this summer.

Despite being a fashionista couple, Maisie and Reuben have swapped London living for the simple life, having moved out to Sussex earlier this year.

Speaking about the big move, the Arya Stark actress said: ‘I was in London for like, four or five years. I just realised that I don’t leave my house, I don’t like going anywhere and if I go to lunch and the table are too close together I just get freaked out. I was never really aware of it until I was with Reuben and he was just like “you know, you absolutely hate a lot of the things you do a lot of the time”, and I feel like it was one of those things that I liked to do in my head, like, yeah I’ll meet friends, let’s go to the pub, but I actually just don’t think I like it that much.

‘My idea of heaven is friends over, everyone in the garden, BBQ on, that’s what we want to create. We have this lovely house, we want to build to make it more of our own, and we want to build a place, I get sent so much clothes and makeup that I want people to come and not even need to pack a bag. They can just come down, spend the weekend with us and everything is already made up and yeah, that’s how I’d prefer it.

‘I thought I was going to move to the country and hate it, thinking where’s Deliveroo, where’s the coffee shop, but it’s just been so easy and I think I’ve made the right decision.’

Maisie is even growing her own vegetables, saying she has ‘rocket and lettuce coming out of my a**e’.

She told Jessie and Lennie: ‘I should have bought some with me. It’s really causing my a lot of stress. I had no idea what to expect. We have so many lettuces! It’s crazy, it’s a lot. It’s like a full-time job, I did this to make it easier for dinner.

‘I’ve got some green beans but they haven’t beaned yet. We’ve got some tomatoes and they haven’t grown yet either, and we’ve got some potatoes that will also be coming later.’

Maisie will be next seen on screen in Danny Boyle’s Sex Pistols biopic series Pistol, in which she plays Pamela Rooke, aka Jordan.
