Hungarian Grand Prix F1 Practice Schedule: Where to Watch, Timings, Live Stream & Weather Forecast

Two weeks after a dramatic British Grand Prix, F1 has arrived at Hungaroring for round 11 of the 2021 season. The rivalry between Mercedes and Red Bull is still blazing hot, with both the title contenders looking to get a head start over practice sessions.

Hence, amidst crucial practice sessions in the offing, let’s take a look at when and where to watch the on-track actions on Friday and early on Saturday.

When to watch F1 practice sessions

F1 will flag off the first practice session on Friday at 11:30 AM local time. The viewers around the United Kingdom can witness the action at 10:30 AM BST, while the western continents will catch the live feed at 5:30 AM ET. The session will last for 60 minutes, before heading to a 3.5-hour break.

The FP2 will start off at 3:00 PM local time, which is 2:00 PM around the UK and 9:00 AM around the United States. This concludes Friday’s action. The day is likely to be quite hot and sunny, with winds barely making an impact.

However, that’s not the case with Saturday. FP3 will receive a green light at 12:00 PM local time, which is 11:00 AM BST. American viewers will be able to view the session between 6:00 AM ET and 7:00 AM ET. The session will most probably witness rains, with the chances hovering around 70%.

Where to watch the practice sessions

As always, the United Kingdom will be able to view the practice sessions through Sky Sports or Channel 4. Along with the UK, Sky also holds broadcasting rights for Germany and Italy. Meanwhile, ESPN will cover F1 feed over the United States, while Canada falls under RDS.

France viewers will be able to enjoy the practice sessions through Canal+, while the hosts, Hungary, will get to view the feed on M4. Max Verstappen’s biggest fanbase, the Netherlands, can watch the sessions through Ziggo, with Eleven Sports and F1 DAZN for Portugal and Spain, respectively.

Finally, the Asian viewers can catch the live F1 feed through Fox Sports, with India being an exception. The South-Asian country will be viewing the action on Star Sports.

Overall, an electric weekend to look forward to at Hungaroring. But, who is going to win this ultimate test – Lewis Hamilton or his title rival, Verstappen?
