Love Island 2021: Kaz Kamwi takes down recoupled Tyler Cruickshank in withering speech

The recouplings continued on Friday’s Love Island as the boys returned from Casa Amor – and when Tyler Cruickshank walked in with Clarisse Juliette, Kaz Kamwi was not taking the expected betrayal lying down.
Having been spurred on to get to know the new boys at the villa following the delivery of a brutal postcard from Casa Amor, which showed Tyler in a compromising position, Kaz moved on and officially coupled up with newbie Matthew McNabb before Tyler’s return.
After acknowledging that she’d had ‘quite the journey’, Kaz gave credit to the ‘lovely postcard delivery that basically told me everything I needed to know’ when making her decision.
Although Tyler looked a little nervous as he made his entrance with a new bombshell and saw Kaz with someone else, it was nothing compared to the wrath he was about to face from her.
As host Laura Whitmore opened the floor to Kaz, she was ready to take him down publicly in a withering speech.
‘I feel like he just wasn’t honest with me from the beginning. He came in very much focused on just me and talked about the outside world, but it took one or two days for him to be in bed with someone else straight away.’

The 26-year-old continued: ‘I kind of feel a bit blindsided but, do you know what? It’s out with the old and in with the new.’
Kaz’s declaration was met with support from her girls in the villa, with both Liberty and Faye voicing their agreement.
As Tyler tried to gain ground on her, pointing out her recoupled status, Kaz fired back: ‘Because I saw a picture of you kissing another girl Ty, that’s why I recoupled. That was basically my green light to go.’
Saving her most ruthless put-down to the end, Kaz asked him: ‘You lost for words now?’
As Tyler mumbled back, ‘What can I say?’, Kaz replied: ‘Whatever it is, just make sure it’s honest this time.’
And it seems that’s not the last we’ll see of drama between the pair, as Sunday night’s sneak peek teased tension between them in an argument.

During their discussion, Kaz can be seen warning Tyler to ‘pick your words carefully’, and accusing him of ‘playing the biggest f***ing game’.
We just hope Matthew is worthy of Kaz.
Love Island returns Sunday night at 9pm on ITV2.
