Snapchat down latest – App NOT WORKING for millions of users who can’t log on without it crashing – LIVE UPDATES

SNAPCHAT is reportedly down for millions of users around the world.

Crashes were first reported in the early hours of this morning UK time (late Thursday night US time) and remain ongoing.

Snapchat acknowledged the outage in a tweet around eight hours ago  “We’re aware of an issue preventing some Snapchatters from logging in,” the company said from Snapchat’s support account.

“Hang tight, we are looking into it and working on a fix!” they added.

Snapchat support advises users to manually update in the App Store if issues continue but users still appear to be having difficulty logging on.

In June a similar outage on iOS saw the app crash on launch – a bug that required a update to be released in order to fix.
