World-famous entertainment company Warner Bros. recently released the trailer to their production ‘King Richard’, the inspirational biopic of Serena Williams and Venus Williams‘ father, Richard Williams.

Twitter erupted as the iconic Will Smith perfectly brought to life the lead character of Richard. Undoubtedly, the emotional trailer sent fans into a frenzy. It left not just fans but various entities from the sporting world speechless, too. Eager to witness the journey of a man who gave the world not one but two tennis greats, ecstatic fans couldn’t contain their excitement. As the news grabbed headlines, Serena Williams took to her Instagram, sharing the mesmerizing visual.

The trailer tells the gripping tale of Richard Williams, who dedicated his life to training the Williams sisters. Right from the time the sisters turned 5 until today, he coached them, mentored them, and shaped them into the world-renowned athletes they are. Sharing the first footage of this remarkable story on Instagram, Serena said, “This should be good.”

The trailer sparked a worldwide conversation as excited fans and followers demanded the movie be released right away. Serena’s coach, Patrick Mouratoglou, was among the many that hailed both the trailer and the man behind it. Tweeting praise for Richard, he said, “Richard Williams not only shaped a World No. 1… but two! He achieved one of the most incredible results in sports history and opened a door for many parents to believe that their child can do it – and for that, he deserves to make it to the big screen.”

Serena returns to court

Serena’s unfortunate exit from the 2021 Wimbledon Championship came as a shock and had a dozen questions following it.
