Where is Jeremy Clarkson’s Diddy Squat farm and is it open to public as he returns for The Grand Tour?

Jeremy Clarkson is getting back behind the wheel for a brand new series of The Grand Tour, alongside pals Richard Hammond and James May.

The Amazon Prime series Scotland special, which drops today, sees the trio take a trip to the Scottish Highlands in vintage cars from the 1970s.

To say we’re excited is a total understatement.

We last saw Jeremy in the wildly popular first series of Clarkson’s Farm, which saw him attempting to tend to his Diddly Squat Farm.

The car enthusiast let cameras into Diddy Squat Farm in his debut series, which premiered on Amazon Prime in June.

His pride and joy is in Oxfordshire, with the Diddy Squat Farm Shop available to purchase food, snacks, booze and souvenirs.

It is located at 5-12 Chipping Norton Road, in Chipping Norton, OX7 3PE if you fancy a little day out.

Is Diddy Squat open to the public?

Yes – unless you want some kale. According to the official website, the shop promises to stock ‘no-nonsense things’ that the public will like.

It boasts ‘incredible food’, the ‘best hamburgers in the world’ and a full bar, but absolutely no kale at all.

Noted.

The Diddly Squat Farm Shop is open between 9:30 – 4:30, Thursday to Sunday.

There is no denying that we all fell in love with series one of Clarkson’s Farm, and secretly questioned if we should all be opening our own version somewhere.

Bosses confirmed that a second series is on the way, and will have ‘more laughs, triumphs and tribulations, and of course more farming faux pas from the farm’, as we follow the adventure’.

Well, what else could you possibly want?

Jeremy teased the new episodes, but vowed his Grand Tour co-stars wouldn’t get a cameo ‘in a million years’.

Responding to this during an appearance on This Morning, Richard was full of praise for his pal, telling Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford: ‘I love the show. The key thing about the show, and you can tell when you watch it, is that it is a genuine passion.

‘I know that about him anyway. It’s not for effect and it’s not just for telly. It’s genuinely something he wanted to get to grips with, and that’s fantastic.

‘That shines through. It wouldn’t be as convincing and as entertaining as it is if it weren’t true. That’s what’s at the heart of it.’
