Becky Lynch Chants Erupt After Seth Rollins Destroys Edge on WWE Smackdown

The enmity between Seth Rollins and WWE Legend Edge continued on this week’s WWE Smackdown. Edge came out to the entrance ramp as a massive pop from the crowd accompanied the former WWE Champion. But the fans didn’t expect Seth Rollins, who cowardly attacked Edge from the back. He then punished the Rated R Superstar by hitting him with a camera on his face.

The crowd showed their rage at Seth as they chanted ‘You suck’ at the former Universal Champion. Hyped up by his action, Seth then entered the ring and cut a promo for his actions and why he despises Edge so much. Interestingly, the crowd started Becky chants at Rollins when he was doing his promo.

Seth Rollins cowardly attacks Edge on Smackdown

Seth Rollins found immense pleasure in attacking WWE Legend Edge from the back. The fans in the target center arena despised the coward move from the former Shield member. They started booing at Rollins, who stood in the middle of the ring. The Messiah then took the microphone and demanded the crowd to shut up. He then added that this beat down was in store for Edge as he pointed out that Edge has taken away his opportunity.

 Rollins then went to proclaim himself as a revolutionary by stating that his actions were a revolution. After that, a video package was played which showed the history between Edge and Seth Rollins over the past few weeks. Rollins added it was hard to do but admitted that he had no shame in doing it as he felt it was the right thing. Seth then added he is the rightful heir to the WWE Universal Championship and destroyed Edge’s dream of becoming a Universal Champion. He felt that if he can’t be the one, neither Edge will be the one.

For the past few weeks, WWE fans have shown their affection towards Becky Lynch on multiple shows by chanting her name. Minneapolis was no exception as the crowd started chanting “We want Becky” in the middle of Rollins’ promo. Rollins kept his cool and acted professionally, but this was not the case when Charlotte Flair faced such a situation as the Queen showed her the middle finger to the fans.

Becky’s absence has created an enormous void in the WWE. Fans are longing for her comeback, and it looks like she is about ready to make her in-ring return. The whole WWE Universe will escalate with joy when the day arrives as the return of Becky Lynch is something that the WWE Universe is waiting for.
