Game Of Thrones star Kit Harington jokes he didn’t realise he’d never get a day off with fatherhood

Kit Harington joked he didn’t realise you never ‘get a break’ from being a dad — as the Game of Thrones star opened up on how he is coping with raising a baby boy five months in.
The Londoner says he and his wife, former TV co-star Rose Leslie, 34, are taking on their new challenge as a ‘unit’.
‘Everyone goes, “Look, it’s big what you’re about to go through”. You have no way of knowing that until it happens,’ confessed the Jon Snow actor, also 34.
‘What surprises you is, you go, “Oh, this goes on forever”. Like, you don’t get a break from it.’
Harington, who was spotted taking a sunny stroll with his Scottish missus and their son in the Big Apple, continued: ‘Every day, I wake up and I look after this little human and now we’re part of a unit together.
‘I think the thing that surprises me most about fatherhood is you are now a unit — the three of you. And that’s a whole new dynamic you need to find.’

The actor checked himself into rehab after GoT wrapped two years ago but said looking after his mini-me has transformed him.
‘I pretty much find every day as he grows and changes, how does that change you? It’s a beautiful thing,’ he told Access Hollywood.
But Kit still finds time for showbiz — as he took a night off at the weekend to celebrate season two of Amazon show Modern Love at New York’s Times Square Edition hotel.
More Guilty Pleasures…
Night out for Bloom, but Prince Harry may fume…
Orlando Bloom has broken cover for the first time after portraying his California neighbour Prince Harry as an ignoramus.
The UK actor looked dashing in navy and white after he called in the babysitter for daughter Daisy and emerged with Katy Perry at a Unicef gala in Capri, Italy.

And Katy wore ruffles to Saturday’s charity do — after her fiancé ruffled some feathers of his own when the teaser dropped for upcoming HBO Max satire The Prince.
Bloom voices Harry in the cartoon, who is seen in the trailer flat-hunting in the US with wife Meghan after ditching the royal family.
In the clip, Harry says: ‘This might be the smallest palace I’ve ever been in.’
After Meghan has to explain to her husband what an apartment is, he replies: ‘Yes, an apartment palace, I know that. Lots of tiny palaces inside one big palace.’

The Sussexes live just a stone’s throw from Orlando and Katy in California’s Montecito neighbourhood.
Before the trailer’s release, Bloom, 44, said he hoped Harry wouldn’t hold a grudge.
‘This guy is so nice, and I think he’s got a great sense of humour. I hope he maintains that through this because they’re sort of on a pedestal,’ the actor said.
‘We’re showing real adoration to them in one form or another. I try to justify it because, quite frankly if I’m honest, it’s not like me to poke fun at anyone but it is done with affection.’
I hadn’t heard of Glasto til I was on the Bill
Glasto was Glast-who for Billie Eilish… she hadn’t the foggiest what the festival was until her invitation to perform two years ago.
The 19-year-old star — who grew up in LA — played The Other Stage at the Somerset extravaganza in 2019.
But she confessed: ‘I feel so embarrassed because I had no idea Glastonbury was even a thing. I was like, “What’s that?” I didn’t know it was a big deal until after I played it. ‘Everyone was like, “Oh my God, you played Glastonbury”, and I was like, “Yeah, so?” I am a little uncultured baby.’

She told DJ Clara Amfo, for the BBC One special Billie Eilish: Up Close: ‘It was such an honour.
‘Dude, the crowd was unbelievable. Those moshpits? Oh my God.’
But the Bad Guy singer wants to tour smaller venues and doesn’t like how far fans can be from festival stages. She said: ‘Sometimes they are barricades and barricades away and I just want them to be literally here.’
He’s a model student! Kate Moss pouts with her protégé Jordan
You’re only as old as the young hunk you pose with in Ibiza… just ask Kate Moss.
The supermodel showed Jordan Barrett, one of her model agency signings, the art of the blue steel as she took him under her wing on the party island.
The pair twinned with their sun-in hair at restaurant Amante Ibiza.

And 47-year-old Kate’s 34-year-old toyboy Nikolai von Bismarck has nothing to worry about — as Barrett, 24, hinted he may be getting very serious with 31-year-old Belgian model Stella Maxwell. He has said he is engaged — and while he hasn’t named names, he posted a snap of him kissing Stella, Kristen Stewart’s ex.
As for Moss, she was seen tucking into the cigarettes after re-joining the London party circuit last month for DJ Fat Tony’s book launch.
It follows reports of a two-year health kick.
Adele has ball with beau’s sporting pals
Adele and her new squeeze Rich Paul are rolling back on the photo ops — staging their entrances to avoid the paparazzi on a triple date at a top LA celeb haunt.
The Rolling In The Deep singer chose Rihanna’s favourite restaurant, Giorgio Baldi in Beverly Hills, for the next chapter of her romance with the sports agent — the meet-the-friends stage.

Though they confirmed their romance by cuddling at an event last month, the pair took two separate cars to dinner at the weekend, denying photographers a couple’s entrance.
Inside, Rich, 39, introduced the 33-year-old British singer to the basketball star he represents, LeBron James, plus James’s wife Savannah. Fellow player Russell Westbrook and his missus Nina Earl rounded out their crew.
Johnny’s court win against Amber
Show us the money! Johnny Depp won a victory in his legal battle with ex-wife Amber Heard.
A New York judge ruled the American Civil Liberties Union must confirm whether the Aquaman actress, 35, gave it a donation from the $7million she received in her divorce from the Rum Diary actor.
‘Mr Depp is most gratified by the court’s decision,’ the actor’s attorney, Benjamin Chew, told USA Today. Depp, 58, claimed Heard lied about splitting the cash between the ACLU and Children’s Hospital LA after he lost a UK libel case against The Sun, which had branded him a wife-beater.
But in that case, the disgraced star, who repeatedly denied allegations he attacked Heard, was denied the chance to appeal.
Black Widow’s Flo is ready to kiss romance scenes goodbye
Sex no longer sells, according to Florence Pugh. The British star reckons the success of Black Widow, which has no romantic storylines, proves to Hollywood that steamy scenes are not needed to make films a hit.
And the Oxford talent is delighted that actresses are no longer hired just to be the ‘snog’. Black Widow, in which Pugh stars alongside Scarlett Johansson, has earned more than £225million in box office revenue and hundreds of millions more from Disney Plus streams.
‘There is not one kiss in our movie — not one,’ said Pugh, 25, who dates Zach Braff, 46.
‘People are starting to lose interest. I think love and romance will always be a very beautiful thing. I think we are kind of bored of just seeing women play that as their only purpose — just be there to be the snog.’
Water thing to say… Suki’s sulking after Gossip Girl jibe
Suki Waterhouse was fuming after the Gossip Girl reboot called her a ‘nobody’, mocking her romance with Robert Pattinson.
The US teen drama referenced the model-turned-actress when mean girl Luna (Zión Moreno) said protagonist Zoya (Whitney Peak) was no-one compared with her boyfriend. She told her: ‘As far as the press is concerned, he’s R-Patz and you’re Suki Nobody.’

Unimpressed Waterhouse, 29, posted: ‘Seeing critiques of patriarchy and sexism, then I get name checked as somebody’s “nobody” girlfriend… Make it make sense!’ She tagged writer Lila Feinberg in her tweet.
Waterhouse has been romancing Batman actor Pattinson, 35, since 2018, and lives in London’s Notting Hill with him.
