Piers Morgan has revealed the savage message Holly Willoughby sent him after he suggested they host Good Morning Britain together – and it’s safe to say she wasn’t a big fan of the idea.
The presenter revealed that he reached out to The Morning star Holly when a magazine pitched them as dream co-hosts on the ITV programme.
Writing in his Mail column, Piers explained that Holly swiftly rejected the idea when he jokingly got in touch with her.
He wrote: ‘“Holly & Piers – CAN THEY SAVE GMB?” screams the new cover of Woman magazine.
‘I wouldn’t hold your breath for this particular TV dream team,’ Piers added, before explaining how he reached out to Holly.
‘“I want the biggest dressing room,” I texted Ms Willoughby.’

Holly quickly put him in his place, replying: ‘You can have it. I won’t be there.’
Despite never working together, Piers and Holly are known to be friends. Holly even gave him advice after he left GMB, recommending meditation sessions.
His exit came after Piers’ penultimate episode in which he accused the Duchess of Sussex of lying about her suicidal thoughts became the most complained about TV moment in Ofcom history back in March.
‘Holly Willoughby was more concerned about my blood pressure from all the GMB ranting,’ the presenter wrote.
He continued: ‘Holly then sent me a link to one that costs £249 for seven hours of meditation technique training live broadcasted to my home which would include advice on “managing difficult situations”, “nailing interviews” and “making hangovers less horrible”.

It comes after Piers’ son Spencer Morgan followed in his father’s footsteps by calling out Good Morning Britain’s Adil Ray in a row over Simone Biles and Ben Stokes.
TV presenter Adil weighed into the heated debate over gymnast Biles’ decision to pull out after one rotation of the women’s team final at the Tokyo Olympics to focus on her mental health.
Good Morning Britain airs on weekdays at 6am on ITV.
