Halo Infinite release date accidentally LEAKED by bizarre doughnut ad

GAMING fans think a bizarre doughnut advert has accidentally leaked the Halo Infinite release date.

The Krispy Kreme advert is a partnership with Microsoft to celebrate 20 years of Halo.

¿Por qué esperar a noviembre si podemos comenzar los festejos ya?

The advert was tweeted by the Xbox Mexico account.

It shows a special Krispy Kreme doughnut with blue icing and a Halo helmet on top.

Unfortunately, it’s currently only avaliable from Krispy Kreme Brazil.

Halo fans in the country can buy the treat between July 30 and September 30.

However, fans across the globe have been homing in on the message tweeted with the advert.

A translated version from Spanish to English states: “Why wait for November if we can start the festivities now?”

This has led to speculation that Halo Infinite’s release date will be in November 2021.

The game currently has a release window in the last quarter of 2021 so November time would fit the bill.

As with all speculation and rumours, we’ll have to wait for official word from Xbox before we can know the release date for sure.

The tweet hasn’t been deleted and the rumours and speculation written underneath it have not been officially responded to.
