“He’s Destroyed More Lives” – Former WWE Superstar Makes Bold Comments on Vince McMahon

Vince McMahon has been the center of controversy for many decades now. He has taken some questionable decisions ever since he inherited the promotion from his father.

The wrestling community has heavily criticized McMahon and the WWE management for the mass firings which have shown no signs of stopping. The company has released numerous superstars and backstage entities over this period.

WWE released many superstars on ‘Black Wednesday’ last year citing these to be part of their ‘budget cuts’. Amongst those superstars was Mike Bennett who is now wrestling for the ‘Ring of Honor’ promotion.

After the recent news of Bray Wyatt getting fired, Mike went on a tweeting spree on 31st July, where he replied to some of the fans. Bennett also went in on the current scenario of WWE and how Vince McMahon has ruined it.

Bennett also wrote that Vince has ruined people’s lives to save a few million dollars, he further said that Vince McMahon is dragging the wrestling business with him for the last 40 years.

Bennett wrote, “However to deny that Vince is a greedy evil man, is to live in denial. You can enjoy the WWE product and realize that Vince has become bad for wrestling. The fish rots at the head and for the past 40 years Vince has been at the top.

“He fired mass amounts of people during the worst health crisis in 100 years. All to save a few million dollars, when his company was set to make record profits. Many people with families and children lost their jobs that day, so Vince could become slightly more rich. To deny this fact is to live in delusion. He’s destroyed more lives than he’s helped.”

WWE released Bennett and his wife, Maria Kanellis-Bennett in April 2020, because of ‘budget cuts’. Bennett is lucky that he is doing well in the Indy circuit but he’s concerned about those individuals who are still unemployed.

Clearly, Vince McMahon made WWE the flagship entity of the pro-wrestling business but these last couple of years have been hard for the company, not just the released stars. The company is not dropping numbers and boring the crowd with the same old rematches.
