Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst has been living his best life ever since he debuted his dramatic new look last week.

The musician showcased the look on stage for the first time when the nu-metal band performed their set at Lollapalooza Festival over the weekend and fans were here for the ‘dad vibes’.

After years of sporting his distinctive goatee and backward baseball cap combo, the 50-year-old rapper performed in a completely different get up as he showed off a full head of hair, his well-groomed handlebar mustache and bright red shades.

Many have questioned whether the filmmaker’s new locks might actually be a wig, but either way, fans were definitely loving the new ‘do as the band performed new single Dad Vibes.

Sharing a series of snaps on Instagram, Fred wrote: ‘get… funky #lbdadvibes’.

‘This is the comeback America needed,’ one fan gushed.

We can’t wait to see what outfit the rapper decides to bless fans with next.

After partly retreating from the music scene, Fred returned to the spotlight in 2018 to direct a semi-autobiographical film named Moose in 2018, which he co-wrote about a run-in with an obsessed stalker.

The film starred John Travolta, who plays a man who becomes obsessed with action star Hunter Dunbar after a bad meeting with the actor and becomes unhinged.

Meanwhile, Limp Bizkit are set to drop a new album and have embarked on a string on US show ahead of two dates set for the UK in 2022.
