Love Island star Millie Court seems officially done with her romance with Liam Reardon after he got cosy with Lillie Haynes in Casa Amor – but Lucinda Strafford isn’t convinced.

Lucinda, who entered the villa with Millie as a bombshell, said she’s ‘hopeful’ the pair can sort things out – despite their brutal split.

Asked by Christine Lampard on Lorraine about whether there’s any hope for the couple, Lucinda said: ‘I’m not entirely sure to be honest with you. Maybe.

‘She did really, really like him and they were so solid when I left and it’s just upsetting that they’ve ended it now. Who knows? Maybe, possibly.’

Speaking about how Millie handled the situation, Lucinda went on: ‘I’m so proud of her…I was crying so much [watching] on Friday night, I do miss her but she’s handled it really well.’

The 21-year-old admitted she still wants Millie to win, whether it’s with a new person or ‘hopefully rekindling things with Liam.’

Aaron, who was coupled up with Lucinda, said of Liam’s actions in Casa Amor: ‘I think he got encouraged, he’s quite young.’

However, he’s not sure their romance is completely over yet either, with the 24-year-old adding: ‘I think he can pull it back. Even if it’s on the outside world.’

We’re not so sure but at least they’re optimistic!

Millie, 24, called off her romance with Liam, 21, in last night’s episode after she spoke to Lillie about what went down in Casa Amor.

Before dumping him, Millie gathered the female contestants together to pass on what she had learnt during her conversation, saying: ‘He just lied – he played it down obviously.’

‘I don’t deserve this,’ she continued in the Beach Hut. ‘I wouldn’t let this happen in the outside world, why would I let it happen in here?’

Millie then went for a chat with Liam on the terrace, where she decided it was time to end things.

After listening to his excuses, she declared: ‘I personally don’t think I can go forward with this.

‘You’ve hurt me and I don’t trust you. I think you need to respect that decision.’

Love Island returns tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
