Well, this is it, folks, we’re on the other side of the Casa Amor recouplings. A little deflated, a little jaded, but hopeful (oh so hopeful) knowing there are nine women left in that villa all vying for the grand prize – £50,000 and the title of Love Island 2021 winner.
Oh, and love. They’re all vying for love. That’s a given, right?
The dramatic happenings of ol Casa Amor has struck yet again and the recoupling ceremony that followed has left the Love Island villa in quite the state, and, frankly, we have no idea where the next few weeks will take us.
We’ve had tears and tantrums aplenty, with the likes of Teddy Soares and Abigail Rawlings left heartbroken after their respective partners, Faye Winter and Toby Aromolaran decided to recouple with other people.
And don’t even get us started on the drama between Liam Reardon and Millie Court, after Lillie Haynes returned to spill the piping hot tea on his shenanigans on the so-called ‘lads’ holiday’.
With a few weeks left until the August 23 finale, which will crown the 2021 winner, there is plenty of time for more recouplings, make-ups and, let’s face it, some bitter break-ups, if the past series have been anything to go by.
