Love Island 2021 has certainly brought the drama to screens over the past few weeks, with the recent Casa Amor shenanigans leading to fireworks in the villa.

That twist turned everything on its head once again, leading to tense scenes as Millie confronted Liam over his closeness to bombshell Lillie Haynes, while Kaz was left heartbroken after Tyler had his head turned by Clarisse Juliette.

It’s been a hugely popular series, as ever, but all good things must come to an end – and the finish line is not that far off.

So just when is the Love Island 2021 finale – and how long will the episode be?

When does Love Island 2021 end?

Mark those calendars now, folks – the Love Island 2021 finale is on Monday August 23.

Although the time has yet to be confirmed, it will most likely be on ITV2 at 9pm.

The format of previous finals has seen the public voting on which of the four remaining couples they want to win the series.

A £50,000 prize awaits the winner, with one half of the winning couple initially getting their hands on the cash after choosing from one of two envelopes.

Whichever one picks the envelope with the money inside has to decide whether to split it with their other half, or keep it all for themselves – in other words they have to choose between love and money.

To date, nobody has kept all of the cash for themselves after being crowned winner.

How long is the series finale?

That has yet to be confirmed, but it normally runs slightly longer than your average episode of the show.

The series opener was around 95 minutes – so it’s likely that the final will have the same running time, or be slightly longer.
