Jenna Dewan has opened up about the struggles she experienced after giving birth to the daughter she shares with Channing Tatum, sharing that ‘wasn’t availble’ during the early weeks of her life.

The actress, 40, spoke out on Monday’s episode of the Dear Gabby podcast where she explained Channing was away due to work commitments after they welcomed Everly, now eight, to the world in 2013.

Step Up star Jenna, who is also mother to 16-month-old son Callum Michael Rebel with fiance Steve Kazee, worked and travelled with Everly after giving birth.

She explained: ‘I had to travel with her and at the time, Chan wasn’t available to be with us for the most part. So, it was me, my doula, and Evie all by ourselves traveling at six weeks.

‘I did have her on set with me constantly. It was just really difficult.’

The star went on to add that she had ‘a lot of postpartum anxiety’ at the time, saying: ‘It was like, I just never stopped. You know, you’re up a couple times in the night and then you’re working all day.

‘I was breastfeeding, I was pumping, I was without a partner, I mean it was just craziness.’

Meanwhile, Channing recently took to Instagram to give fans a glimpse inside a family beach trip, with Everly making her full debut in the idyllic beach snap, with her famous father never posting a picture of her face before.

‘You my littles are everything! You are my world and my heart,’ he captioned the adorable snap.

‘You were looking at the full moon in this pic and telling me the prophecy of the full moon mermaid and then we ran into the water and looked for her and played with glow sticks in the night water calling out to the mermaids.
