Khloe Kardashian wishes she could trick daughter True into believing she was allergic to cats

Khloe Kardashian has revealed she is ready to get a new ‘fur baby’ after the death of her beloved Labrador Gabbana three years ago.
However, she’s facing a bit of a dilemma because, while she wants another dog, her three-year-old daughter True is pining after a cat.
Taking to Twitter on Tuesday she wrote: ‘My fur baby Gabbana passed away when I was 6 months pregnant. Emotionally, I wasn’t ready for another fur baby. But now that True is getting older I figured I would get her a dog once we got settled into the new house.
‘I desperately miss my Goober, it’s been over 3 years and I’m finally ready.’
She went on: ‘I’m finally ready. I know a dog would be a great addition to our home. Buttttt Miss True has a love for cats and wants a cat. I have never owned a cat before. I don’t know anything about cats. I’ve been researching for weeks (literally).
‘I’ve been trying to persuade her to get a dog but she’s not falling for it. Sooooooooooo does anyone know of any good kitten rescues in Los Angeles.’
The star quipped that she wished True was old enough for her to tell her ‘she’s allergic to cats’.
She joked: ‘I wish True was old enough so I can tell her she’s allergic to cats. My mom told me that my entire childhood. I never questioned it. Genius move!!’
When one of Khloe’s fans suggested ‘get both! a cat and a dog would be a perfect addition to your family,’ the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star agreed that would be the best idea because she ‘loved that connection’ with her dog.
The 37-year-old reality star said that she will be moving into her new home in just a few months, and she wants to help True, her daughter with on/off boyfriend Tristan Thompson, transition to the house.
She added: ‘I have a few more months until I move. So, I’m trying to look into shelters and still do a little more research until then.
‘I’m sure a move can be a little jarring for a three-year-old, so I’m trying to get the kitten around move-in time so True is excited for the new house.’

Khloe then spent time responding to fans who shared pictures of her with her former pooch, as well as a shot of her cuddling up to sister Kim’s cat Mercy.
She also told a fan that she was considering adopting a Russian Blue cat as they are known to be a ‘fantastic breed’.
