Nia Jax suffered a nasty cut above her eye during her match against Rhea Ripley on Raw.
The WWE superstar, who is a former women’s champion in both the single and tag team ranks, was battling the Nightmare during Monday night’s episode when she ended up bleeding profusely.
The accident looked to occur when Jax had Ripley up for a powerbomb, but she reversed the move and went into a sunset flip.
It seems that during that exchange, the Unstoppable Force got caught by something that cut the corner of her eye, and the referee was quick to get his gloves on in case she needed more attention.
However, the two superstars were able to work through the tense moment, with the match ending shortly after when Shayna Baszler’s distraction accidentally cost her tag team partner.
After the bell, the Rhea capitalised on her opponent’s lack of focus as she attacked and hit her with a huge Riptide.
It seems the Jax and Baszler could be on a collision course, which would freshen things up for the wrestlers – and the fans – after so long teaming together during the ThunderDome era.
Nia is yet to comment on the injury.
Accidents happen in wrestling, and Jax knows that all too well after she hurt her bottom during a match with Lana back in February.
After missing a leg drop and landing on her backside, she was clearly heard shouting: ‘My hole!’
Not surprisingly, Twitter took this and ran with it, with #MyHole trending during the broadcast and beyond.
WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley caught wind of the hilarious incident, and gave a nod to ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin as he pointed out the marketing and merchandise potential.

He tweeted: ‘”MY HOLE” could be the “Austin 3:16” for a new generation! I expect a new @NiaJaxWWE #MyHole t-shirt by Thursday! #RAW (sic)’
Even a bidet company got in on the action as they offered to sponsor Jax, who later urged fans to stop bringing up the incident as she joked even her mum had joined with the jokes.
She tweeted: ‘That’s enough people! My own mother is making jokes about my incident! She says she doesn’t want to be left out. This isn’t even right!!!!!! Leave me hole alone (sic)’
