T.I. found himself in an Amsterdam jail this week after his bike collided with a police officer’s car.
The Live Your Life rapper is currently travelling across Europe on holiday with his wife, Tameka ‘Tiny’ Harris, to celebrate their 11th wedding anniversary.
On Tuesday morning, T.I. whisked himself off on a bike ride but it wasn’t the relaxing trip he bargained for.
In an Instagram video filmed in jail, the 40-year-old revealed he’d been taken into police custody after getting into an incident with an ‘extremely upset’ officer. He had been caught using his phone while cycling and then accidentally clipped off the policeman’s wing mirror when the officer slowed down beside him.
‘Free me,’ the rapper captioned the video, in which he further explained: ‘So I’m locked up now. I’m obviously not supposed to have my phone as I’m biking, and because the policeman ran into me and broke his [side mirror], and because I didn’t have my passport on me.
‘I don’t know, it’ll be fine. It’ll be fine but he was extremely upset.
In good spirits, T.I. went on to reveal the surprisingly pleasant manner of his arrest, continuing: ‘I, myself, was having a great time.
‘I’m still not upset—I’m having a phenomenal time. They arrested me and didn’t even put me in handcuffs. They just opened the door and invited me to the backseat. I obliged.’

At one point, he flashed wads of cash which he had attempted to pay his bond with, but was informed it could only be done via credit.
‘We working on the buddy system out here and I like it,’ he said rather cheerfully, adding that a friend eventually brought his passport to the station so he could be released.
Taking the positive out of the frustrating situation, the rapper added: ‘Man, this is great man. You know what I’m saying? This is actually the experience in the culture as it is. This is living life to the fullest, you dig?’
T.I., real name Clifford Harris, later thanked ‘the love of [his] life’, wife Tiny, for supporting him throughout his 25 minute jail stint.
When a friend called the whole drama ‘bulls**t’, T.I. reasoned: ‘Everybody has a bad morning.’
T.I. and Tiny are spending their summer holidays in Europe and marked their 11th wedding anniversary on July 31.
In an Instagram post with loved-up photos from their city break, the rapper wrote: ‘Photo Dump.
‘Happy 11th Anniversary Boss Lady @majorgirl I love you dearly & I thank God for you‼️ We been through it ALL & stayed creating memories the whole time. That’s how we look up & it’s 20 yrs later… well here’s🥂 to 20 more 20s…all my love 😍 all my life. #MrandMrsH.’

Tiny, 46, replied: ‘U made it well worth the wait baby… U are truly one of a kind. So glad I chose u to spend my life with.’
The couple are currently embroiled in legal issues after being accused of drugging and sexually assaulting several women, but both have vehemently denied the claims.
