The trailer for Cobra Kai season 4 has been released, teasing the dramatic return of the All Valley Karate Tournament as the students prepare to go head to head in the Netflix series.

Earlier this year, a teaser for the new season of the Karate Kid spin-off revealed a first look at the return of Terry Silver (Thomas Ian Griffith), with the villain promising to bring ‘pain’ upon his highly-anticipated comeback.

The latest promo has spelled even more drama in the new episodes, as karate comes ‘to the world’s biggest stage, where legends are born’.

In the clip, a montage of the Cobra Kai stars is shown, in addition to a throwback clip from the very first Karate Kid film, when Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) faced off at the All Valley championship.

While many years have passed since their showdown – with Daniel and Johnny now both leading the students at the Cobra Kai dojo – we have a feeling the tournament is going to deliver some nail-biting fights.

‘Fasten your gi. Tie your belt,’ the voiceover in the trailer says, before stating: ‘Welcome back to the All Valley Karate Tournament. The soul of the Valley is on the line.’ We are so ready!

While Cobra Kai was previously banned from the All Valley Karate Championship, they are now free to compete, and have been waiting patiently for their chance to show what they’ve got.

Considering the tournament was cancelled in season three, the pressure will be mounting for the competitors to deliver on stage, no holds barred.

Cobra Kai fans could barely contain their excitement over the new trailer, as the teaser also confirmed that season four will be dropping on Netflix this December.

‘Is it December yet? How about now? NOW?!?!?’ one fan tweeted.

‘Greaaaaaat, got to start and will get to finish the year with #CobraKai,’ another said, after season three premiered at the very start of the year.

While December may seem like a long way away, four months will fly by before fans return to the Cobra Kai dojo again.

The first three seasons of Cobra Kai are available to watch on Netflix.
