Mike Tyson Feels Weighing Scales Don’t Measure a Fighter’s Heart

Mike Tyson is the most flamboyant combat sports personality who stirs the sports with his statements. Despite leaving the sport for good almost two decades ago, he still stays in the limelight and grabs attention like an active pugilist.

Moreover, ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’ stays highly active among hardcore boxing fans with his Hotboxin’ podcast. In his fresh podcast, UFC stars Henry Cejudo and Khabib Nurmagomedov joined Tyson.

Here, the former shed some light on Tyson’s size and he asserted that the 55-year-old seemed more of a cruiserweight to him. ‘Iron’ Mike then came up with a staggering statement on Cejudo’s comments. He said, “The testing (weighing) scale, it doesn’t show how much heart you got.”

Despite his short heavyweight frame, Tyson never failed to smother his opponents with his thunderous punching power. Back in the 1990s, he was a genuine star of the game who used his dynamite-like power to get past his opponents. In no time, ‘Iron’ Mike turned into a fan favorite and all of his fights drew an extensive number of views.

With his charismatic performances, Tyson impressed the likes of Nurmagomedov, Cejudo, and more.

Initially, pundits didn’t know how skilled ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’ was. However, with time, they never doubted his abilities within the ropes.

Mike Tyson – A G.O.A.T. in every sense

Tyson signed off from the sport in 2005, but his knack of inspiring the budding generation of boxers still prevails over anything. He saw an exemplary run in the sport, but his stint had some dreadful trials.

As a result, ‘Iron’ Mike doesn’t want the younger generation to commit those mistakes as they pursue/achieve success. This makes him the Greatest of All Time in the sport.

He will look to continue his contributions to the sport of boxing and will only look to get better from hereon. What do you make of Tyson’s comments about heart?
