‘This Shows How Dirty You Are’- Khabib Nurmagomedov Reacts to Conor McGregor’s Deleted Tweet About His Father

Khabib Nurmagomedov appeared at the Hotboxin’ Podcast of Mike Tyson recently along with the co-host, Henry Cejudo. Naturally, while chatting the name Conor McGregor came up. ‘The Notorious’ recently broke his ankle at his trilogy fight against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 and he lost the fight subsequently.

Nurmagomedov took to Twitter after that and congratulated Poirier for his win. “Good always defeats evil. Very happy for @DustinPoirier I hope you will get the belt end of the year,” wrote Nurmagomedov. That took McGregor’s attention. He came up with a disgusting response saying COVID is good and Nurmagomedov’s father is evil.

‘The Eagle’ lost his father Abdulmanap in 2020 due to the coronavirus. It was an unfortunate occurrence and prompted his retirement from the sport. Nevertheless, McGregor’s response was nothing short of disgusting. The Irish fighter later took down that tweet as well.

Looking back at that incident, Nurmagomedov explained what he thought of McGregor’s claims. The Dagestani believes those words only show McGregor’s true persona.

When he talked about this, only evil can talk about your father, wife, kids, religion. If you’re normal human, you’re never going to talk about this stuff.—- When someone is not with us, he is not even alive- this shows what you have inside. This shows how dirty you are,” said the undefeated Russian.

Will Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor ever reconcile?

The bad blood between Nurmagoemdov and McGregor has boiled even after their fight. Also, the latest incident goes to show that both men carry a certain amount of animosity toward the other. However, Nurmagoemdov’s father, Abdulmanap promised to invite McGregor over to their house and end the feud.

But the chances of that type of thing happening are slim to none. And the latest exchange will further increase the hatred they possess for the other. Fans wanted to see the dup share the Octagon once more as they both are two of the biggest superstars in the UFC’s history. But with ‘The Eagle‘ retired and ‘The Notorious‘ not being the same fighter anymore, those expectations are not to be met it seems.
