The event could serve as the best opportunity for the studio to roll out trailers of new intellectual properties along with more gameplay reveals. Gamescom is going to take place on August 25th, 11:00 pm PT.

Gamescom 2021 could showcase spectacular titles

Gamescom‘s producer, Geoff, provided a fantastic update about the upcoming event. He shared a tweet about the event and promised a memorable night. The event has already invited a roster of top-rated gaming studios from the world over. Earlier in the year, the same roster of studios unfurled an amazing range of triple-A titles.

Xbox held a combined showcase with Bethesda studio and revealed Halo: Infinite, Starfield, Forza Horizon, and more. It is quite possible that the studio will showcase a gameplay trailer, and deep into these titles. Fans have only seen teaser trailers, and they merely touched the tip of the iceberg. Halo is going to take a free-to-play multiplayer route while Starfield promises an unforgettable journey across time and space.

Similarly, Activision also has a massive title in the new 2021’s Call of Duty title that is rumored to take place in the World War 2 era. Over 20 studios are going to attend this year’s Gamescom event and it just might break the internet.

The current state of the world has pushed back many titles ever since the pandemic broke out. It seems like 2021 is going to be no different from its predecessor, as the studios have already announced delays in the release of major triple-A titles. Fans can only hope that nothing comes in the way of the developmental process.

Already, major titles like Horizon: Forbidden West and Rainbow Six Extraction have been delayed for the 2022 release. The current pandemic situation has indeed caused major problems as it continues to disrupt the world.
