‘Allo ‘Allo! has become the latest show to be hit with offensive content warnings on streaming service BritBox.
The sitcom has been labelled as ‘outdated’ by the streaming service due to jokes about French and German stereotypes and the high number of sexual innuendos.
‘Allo ‘Allo! was created by David Croft and Jeremy Lloyd, and ran for 10 years from 1982 to 1992 on the BBC. The programme ran for 85 episodes over the course of nine series.
It followed Gordon Kay’s French café owner René during the German occupation of France during World War Two, The Sun reports.
With catchphrases including ‘I will say this only once’, ‘ooh my dicky ticker and ‘I was p***ing by the door’, the show was one of the most popular of its time.
A BritBox boss said: ‘This classic comedy contains language and attitudes of the time that may offend some viewers.’

A spokesman for BritBox said: ‘Programming on the service that contains potentially sensitive language or attitudes of their era has carried appropriate warnings since our launch in November 2019, to ensure the right guidance is in place for viewers who are choosing to watch on demand.’
It’s the latest show to receive an offensive content warning on the platform, following the likes of Grange Hill and Keeping Up Appearances.
BritBox is a joint venture from BBC and ITV, which brings together some of the most popular classic shows from both broadcasters.

It comes after a controversial episode of classic comedy Fawlty Towers aired on the BBC earlier this year after previously being removed from UKTV due to racist content, with viewers divided on its return to screens.
Last year the 1975 episode, titled The Germans, was hit with a content warning after being removed from BBC-owned UKTV and reviewed amid the Black Lives Matter protests, after racist slurs used by Major Gowen were previously taken out in 2013.
