“Already Disadvantage for Him”: Manny Pacquiao Discards Jake Paul as an Opponent

Manny Pacquiao ranks among the best boxers of the modern era. The veteran has hung around the sport for a considerable while and he’s hooked in the retro and the young generation of fans with his performances. He will look to perform to the best of his abilities against Errol Spence Jr.

Ahead of the bout, the Filipino Senator interacted with FightHype during his training session and gave an honest opinion about whether he’d entertain a fight against the internet sensation Jake Paul.

“No, I will not. I will not. I will, I want to fight the best toward into my legacy,” he said.

Pacquiao continued, “I’m not underestimate him but he’s, he didn’t have a lot experience in boxing, so in that point he’s already disadvantage for him.”

The Filipino Senator, in his illustrious career, took up some extensive boxing wars against the best of contenders. Because of this, he’s inhibited a habit of fighting the sternest contenders to test himself in deep waters.

On the other hand, ‘The Problem Child’ is a novice in the sport, who has made statements with a couple of his performances. However, in terms of skills, aura, and overall ring conduct, Paul is nowhere close to the likes of Pacquiao and more. That said, the 42-year-old in his above comments seemed clear about not fighting Jake Paul by any means.

When will Jake Paul get ready to face someone like Manny Pacquiao?

Paul only has 3 fights/wins to his name. Slowly and steadily he’s building a resume that’s worth the attention.

But if he wishes to fight the likes of Pacquiao, ‘The Problem Child’ will have to go above and beyond. He will have to keep fighting and winning to sharpen his skills.
