Rochelle Humes has been showing fans into her home for years on Instagram, so it feels only right that she should be set to land a brand new TV series all about interior design.

UKTV has commissioned a brand new show, Rochelle Humes: Interior Designer in the Making, for channel W.

The programme will see the former Saturdays singer explore her passion for design and treat families to home makeovers ‘fit for the post pandemic world’ – and fair play because she certainly knows what she’s doing.

As well as being a seasoned presenter on shows like This Morning, The Xtra Factor and The Hit List, she runs her own separate account, @homehumes, which she uses to share tasteful shots of her house to its 202,000 followers.

The 32-year-old has kept fans up to date as she takes on projects in her home with one of the best celebrity home interior accounts out there.

She’ll also be studying for an interior design course and being mentored by a designer on the programme.

The upcoming 10-part series is produced by Outline Productions and part-funded by home improvement retailer Wickes.

Rochelle said: ‘I’ve always loved interiors and the way a home can positively affect your life. Since I was very young, I’ve rearranged rooms, changed colour and pattern, and loved renovating and decorating my own homes as an adult.

‘Now I can’t wait to embrace the challenge of helping other people reimagine their own homes for this exciting new series for W with Wickes.’

A release date for Rochelle Humes: Interior Designer has yet to be announced.

Elsewhere, Rochelle has enjoyed a major 12 months after her and husband Marvin Humes, who are already parents to daughters Alaia-Mai, seven, and Valentina, four, welcomed son Blake in October.

Marvin recently said that lockdown was ‘the best time’ for him and wife Rochelle to become parents again.
