Stacey Solomon looking forward to ‘proper’ maternity leave ahead of birth of daughter as she gets Loose Women send-off

Stacey Solomon has officially begun her maternity leave, as today marked her final stint on Loose Women before she gives birth.
Stacey, 31, is currently pregnant for the fourth time, as she and her fiancé Joe Swash, 39, prepare to welcome their baby daughter.
On Friday’s edition of Loose Women, the TV personality’s fellow panelists threw her a baby shower, complete with cupcakes, nostalgia and fun presents, including a huge inflatable unicorn.
When asked by Kaye Adams how she feels about her pregnancy, Stacey said that she feels ‘really grateful’, adding that she ‘can’t wait to be in that bubble again’ after she gives birth.
‘You know that little bubble at the beginning, just after the day three where you feel like life is over, but when you emerge into the nice bit and the bubble bit where you just feel like nothing else in the world can come in here,’ she said.
After Stacey confirmed earlier this week that she was due to give birth in around eight or nine weeks, Linda Robson asked her when she expects to return to Loose Women after her maternity leave.

‘I’ll probably come back after Christmas I reckon. I’ve never had like a proper maternity leave,’ Stacey replied.
Linda then insisted that Stacey should appear on Loose Women with her baby girl before her official return, to which Stacey promised that she would.
Stacey’s baby shower look was radiant to say the least, complete with a tiara and a ‘baby on board’ sash.

She also had the rest of the presenters try one of her absolute favourite snacks – raw cauliflower.
Her co-stars were surprised to find that they actually liked the taste of the dish… with the exception of Linda, who said it wasn’t her ‘cup of tea’.
Stacey shares her two-year-old son Rex with Joe and has two older sons, 13-year-old Zach and nine-year-old Leighton, from previous relationships.
Joe also has a 13-year-old son called Harry from a previous relationship.
When it was revealed that the couple would be having a girl, Stacey expressed her delight on Instagram, saying in a post: ‘Baby Girl. I can not believe I’m writing this… We are growing a little baby girl.
