The USA will be locking horns with their former threat France in the gold medal match. This power-packed final, USA vs France, is scheduled on Friday, August 6, 2021, at 10:30 p.m. ET. The game will air live on NBC and NBC Sports App.
Kevin Durant has led his team with example during this Olympic Games. Averaging 19 points per game, he recently became the all-time leading Olympics scorer of U.S. men’s basketball, surpassing Carmelo Anthony. In their last match against Australia, Durant put up a game-high 23 points to win the match 97-78.

The France team, led by Rudy Gobert, Evan Fournier, and Nicholas Batum, have been on a winning streak in Tokyo so far. They advanced after defeating Luka Doncic’s army, Slovenia. In a neck-to-neck semifinal matchup, France beat Slovenia 90-89 to reserve a spot against Team USA.
