All You Need To Know About Jenson Brooksby

Jenson Brooksby is one of the youngster American talents. In this past week, he has been in the headlines for all the right reasons. In 2018, he made considerable development, winning the USTA Boys’ under-18 national championship. That victory earned him a wild card into the main draw of the 2018 US Open.

However, he lost in the opening round to eventual quarterfinalist John Millman. In the following year, Brooksby qualified for the main draw of the 2019 US Open, where he defeated former Grand Slam finalist Tomas Berdych in four sets in the first round.

2021 has been Jenson Brooksby’s most successful season

In the current season, Brooksby made a huge breakthrough in his career. He has won three Challenger trophies this season. He also reached his first ATP final at the Hall Of Fame Open this year. In doing so, he became the second-youngest player to reach the final in the history of the tournament.

The 20-year-old made his biggest impact on the men’s Tour in this present week. He is currently competing at the Citi Open in Washington. During the event so far, he has managed to defeat American player Frances Tiafoe in straight sets. In the following round, he managed to knock off Canadian talent Felix Auger Aliassime in a similar fashion.

The youngster is scheduled to take on Italian teenager and player in form Jannik Sinner. They will be meeting in the semifinal and it would be a huge deal if the American manages to come out on top. We wish him all the best for the upcoming matches and for the rest of the season.
