Ant McPartlin and Anne-Marie Corbett wedding: Stephen Mulhern leaves guests ‘in rafts of laughter’ as he plays special role

Stephen Mulhern is said to have played a special role at Ant McPartlin and Anne-Marie Corbett’s wedding, entertaining the masses with a ‘hilarious’ comedy performance.
On Saturday, A-listers among the likes of Phillip Schofield, Alesha Dixon and Dermot O’Leary arrived at St Michael’s church in Hampshire to celebrate the wedding of Ant and Anne-Marie, who have been together since 2018.
Ant was all smiles as he arrived with his best man Declan Donnelly, while Anne-Marie looked radiant in her one-shoulder wedding dress, beaming as she made her way to the church.
Stephen, who appears on Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, wore a bright blue suit for the occasion.
However, in addition to being a part of Ant and Anne-Marie’s big day as an honoured guest, he also performed a mini comedy routine, a source claimed.
‘Stephen was hilarious. Nobody was expecting it, but he had everyone in rafts of laughter,’ the guest told MailOnline, explaining that the TV presenter made fun of Ant and Dec in his routine.

They added that Stephen’s performance ‘gave the wedding a real lighthearted feel’.
After marrying Anne-Marie in today’s ceremony, Ant raised a celebratory fist as he and his bride exited the church.

While there were many familiar faces in attendance at the nuptials, including Christine and Frank Lampard, David Walliams and Cat Deeley, there were several people notably missing.
Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden, who’s currently abroad on holiday, apologised in a social media post for missing the wedding.
‘So sorry we will miss @antanddec special day… we are still away sending our love and huge congratulations to Ant & Amzie on this amazing day..’ she said.
The accompanying picture that she shared on Instagram Story showed her, fellow judge Alesha and BGT hosts Ant and Dec having a laugh behind the scenes of the ITV show.
Ant, 45, and Anne-Marie, 43, first started dating in 2018, becoming engaged two years later.

Anne-Marie is Ant’s former assistant, having worked at the same management company as Dec’s wife Ali Astall for a decade.
Ant was previously married to Lisa Armstrong from 2006 to 2018.
