Genshin Impact Spiral Abyss 2.0 Guide: Easiest way to beat the Toughest Abyss yet

Inazuma has brought a lot of challenges and enemies for players in Genshin Impact. The new region has motivated them to spend more time in the game. Indeed, most users like to challenge themselves by facing tough opponents in the game. For those, the Spiral Abyss is the most splendid option to test their characters.

The Spiral Abyss is a special type of Domain that players can unlock at Adventure Rank 20, located in Musk Reef. In order to bring more challenges for users, miHoYo added new Inazuma’s enemies to the Abyss. This has made the current Spiral Abyss one of the toughest Abyss ever to clear.

Best guide to clear all floors in the Spiral Abyss in Genshin Impact

The Spiral Abyss consists of two main parts: the Abyss Corridor (Floors 1–8) and the Abyssal Moon Spire (Floors 9–12). The rewards and enemies of the Abyss Corridor are always the same and you can only claim the rewards once. However, miHoYo refreshes the rewards for Abyssal Moon Spire every two weeks. Furthermore, miHoYo also changes the enemies on each floor a lot of times.

Floor 9 and 10 of Spiral Abyss

On floor 9, it would be best to have a crowd control character like Sucrose, Kazuha, and Venti on the second team. It’s mainly because you will see a lot of treasure holders in the second half of the second chamber. While for the first team you must have a Pyro and Cryo character in your team as you will encounter Fatui enemies and you will have to break their shield with these specific elements.

Other than that, you can also take one hydro character to continuously trigger Vaporize reactions. Whereas for floor 10, you will notice many small enemies targeting you from far.

Therefore, instead of focusing on big opponents, it would be best to eliminate the small group of enemies first. Furthermore, you will first-time encounter Electro Abyss Mage in the Spiral Abyss, so it would be best to have a Cryo or Pyro character to break the shield faster in the first party.

Floor 11 and 12 in Genshin Impact

A lot of players are struggling to clear floor 11 of the Abyss. It’s mainly because they are encountering difficulties in dealing with the new Pyro Hypostasis. You have to encounter Cryo and Pyro Hypostasis on floor 11 chamber 2 in the first and second half, respectively. Therefore, you must take one Pyro character in your first party and one Hydro character in your second.

Besides that, it would be a splendid strategy to have one Cryo character in both teams. You can go for Diona, as she can provide a shield as well as heal or Rosaria for constant Cryo damage. For floor 12, the level of enemies is very high and you need a proper team to deal with the enemies.

Out of all the floor 12 chambers, chamber 1 is the hardest to deal with. It’s mainly because you will encounter a lot of enemies with high levels, which makes it difficult to get 9 stars. However, the weakness of the new Inazuma enemies in chamber 1 is that they always will dash towards you to deal more damage.

Hence, you can try to stand around the corner to group them and deal AoE damage. In order to deal more, AoE damage characters like Xiao, Hu Tao, and Ganyu (her elemental burst) would be best.

Furthermore, it would be best to get rid of the Electro Aura around the enemies by triggering reactions like overload to deal more damage. If you have Venti, Kazuha, or Sucrose in your team, then placing them in the second party would be a splendid strategy. This will help you group all the enemies and eliminating them at once.

You can even place Ayaka and Xingqiu in one team to freeze your enemies and avoid getting tremendous damage. What are your thoughts on the new Spiral Abyss? Let us know in the comments down below.
