Party-goers looked to be having the time of their lives as they congregated with friends on the streets, enjoying the nightlife after the easing of coronavirus restrictions in England.

The reopening of the country’s 12,000 nightclubs was eagerly awaited by partygoers after dance-floors were shut more than a year and a half ago.

In Leeds, a group of lads posed for a picture together on the sidewalk, donning fresh white sneakers and flashing a ‘thumbs up’ sign for the camera.

And two women appeared to be singing together as they walked down the street; one in a denim boiler suit and the other in a black dress and jacket, with her fist in the air.
