Sarah Jessica Parker has fuelled excitement for the upcoming Sex and the City reboot after posting a loved-up snap of herself with her co-star Chris Noth on the set of And Just Like That.

Earlier this week, pictures taken during the filming of the sequel series teased a tense reunion for Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah) and her on-again, off-again beau Mr Big (Chris), after a script leak suggested that Big may have been unfaithful to his partner.

It was recently claimed that the show is going to kill off a main character in the first episode, leading some to suspect that Big could meet an early demise.

Nonetheless, Sarah has implied that Carrie and Big’s relationship is smooth-sailing (for the time being), after sharing a photo of herself and Chris embracing behind the scenes.

In the picture shared on Instagram, Sarah is beaming up at Chris while holding him at his waist, while he has his hands placed on either side of her face

‘These 2. I bet they stay out late tonight. X, SJ,’ she wrote in the caption.

Chris commented underneath the post with a line of glass emojis, while several fans expressed their excitement over the sight of their reunion.

‘Please don’t break them up. I’ve always been a fan of Big & Carrie since episode 1,’ one person commented.

‘This does not look like marital problems to me. Please keep it that way!!!!!’ another said, clearly hopeful that rumours of Carrie and Big’s bump in the road will turn out to be false.

‘No one better die or get a divorced or we riot!!!!’ someone else remarked.

‘Aaaah! Amazing. I’m imagining Big calling Carrie ‘kid’ right about now,’ another fan wrote, alongside three heart-eyed emojis.

Chris also shared a behind-the-scenes picture of himself with Sarah, sitting next to his co-star as she placed a hand on his shoulder.

‘Together again!’ he wrote in the caption, while posing with a pensive look on his face.

Whether or not Carrie and Big do end up going through marital problems in And Just Like That, one thing’s for sure – this couple’s chemistry is undeniable.

And Just Like That will be available to stream in the US on HBO Max.
