Travis Scott is thrifty king on shopping spree in luxury second-hand store during New York trip

Just because you’re a millionaire rapper doesn’t mean you don’t appreciate a good bargain, as Travis Scott is here to confirm to us with his trip out in New York on Friday.

Enjoying a solo outing in the Big Apple, the Sicko Mode star, who shares daughter Stormi, three, with Kylie Jenner, was spotted entering a second-hand shop before stopping to grab an alfresco burger.

Now, it should be stressed that Travis’ choice of second-hand clothing store was still pretty swanky, as What Goes Around Comes Around markets itself as ‘the finest luxury vintage’ and sells designer brands including Chanel, Hermès, Louis Vuitton, Gucci and Fendi among others.

On its website in the new arrivals section, the retailer lists a Takashi Murakami x Louis Vuitton ‘monogramouflage’ keep-all 55 for $17,500, a limited edition collaboration in a print described as ‘ultra-rare’, but you can also purchase a range of printed Hermès scarves at just $390 a pop.

Travis kept it casual for his shopping trip, dressing in baggy black cargo shorts, a grey long-sleeved sweater and a matching brown baseball cap and pair of Nike Air Force 1 trainers.

The 30-year-old did, however, go next level with his jewellery as he sported a huge piece of bling around his neck on a thick chain.

After wearing a face mask as he entered the shop, Travis seemed to keep himself to himself quite successfully as he quietly ate on his own outside Manhattan restaurant JC Melon, famed for its hamburgers.

The dad-of-one has been spotted out and about with Kylie more in recent months, as they co-parent Stormi, leading to suggestions that the couple have rekindled their romance.

They initially dated for three years before splitting in October 2019.

In June, both Kylie and Stormi accompanied Travis to the Parsons Benefit, where he was among the honourees.

After Stormi stole the show, posing beside her parents, who cuddled for the cameras, Travis seemingly confirmed his and Kylie’s status with an adorable shout-out to the women in his life as he accepted his award.

‘Stormi, I love you and wifey, I love you,’ he said, referring to Kylie.
