‘A Cry for Help if I Ever Seen One’- Conor McGregor Hits Back at Daniel Cormier in a Deleted Tweet
Conor McGregor’s war of words on Khabib Nurmagomedov has been unrelenting. ‘The Notorious’ has not spared anyone, be it Nurmagomedov’s manager, teammates, or anyone in between. The most recent victim of McGregor’s tweets was former heavyweight champion of the world Daniel Cormier.
‘DC’ is covering UFC 265 as a play-by-play commentator. McGregor posted a picture of Cormier doing his duties with the caption, “A Cry for help if I ever seen one”. Hitting out at Cormier for his recent comments.
McGregor made a few ill-advised comments regarding COVID and Khabib Nurmagomedov’s father Abdulmanap. McGregor put out a tweet that said “Covid is good and father is evil”. This was in response to ‘The Eagle’s’ tweet following the result at UFC 264.

In an interview, Cormier mentioned that the comments made by ‘The Notorious’ were a cry for help and that he needs to seek help for the same. It appears as though those comments have reached ‘The Notorious’ and he has replied befittingly.
Conor McGregor to stay active during his rehab period
McGregor suffered a nasty leg injury at UFC 264. The former champ-champ snapped his tibia and fibula when ‘The Diamond’ checked a kick thrown by him. The seriousness of the injury means that McGregor will be out for the better part of a year. However, a broken leg will not dampen the fighting spirit in the Irishman.
Recent reports suggest that Conor McGregor will partake in an exhibition boxing match to take place in a wheelchair. The fight will be for charity and will most likely take place in his home country of Ireland.
This is one of the many reasons why McGregor has such a huge cult following. Not many fighters would have accepted a different challenge. And continued fighting even through the injury. Although recent results have not gone his way, the love for the sport still burns bright in McGregor. Fans will be hoping that the activity during an injury will help McGregor when he makes his return to the ring.
