Alexander Volkanovski, Petr Yan, and Other UFC Fighters React to a Vintage Jose Aldo Performance Against Pedro Munhoz at UFC 265

Jose Aldo took on Pedro Munhoz in the co-main event at UFC 265. The former featherweight champion has found a new lease of life at bantamweight ever since moving down. The move did not look like the best decision at first as he lost his first two fights against the likes of Marlon Moraes and Petr Yan. 

However, Aldo bounced back impressively with a win over Marlon Vera and now followed it up with a win over Pedro Munhoz. The former champion is still only 35-years old and still has a lot of time left in the sport. He reckons that he is just getting started and will be stronger and faster the next time he steps into the UFC octagon. This might spell trouble for the rest of the division at 135-pounds.

Jose Aldo is getting better with time

Aldo started off the fight well and won the first round, according to most fans and pundits alike. However, there was concern that he might not be able to keep up the pace over the course of the fight given how he started. Aldo was able to maintain the same pace throughout on his way to a comfortable unanimous decision win over Munhoz.

Over the course of the fight, Aldo landed an impressive 114 total strikes with an accuracy of 51%. He also landed the same number of significant strikes with a similar accuracy rate. This was in comparison to 75 total strikes thrown by Munhoz.
