“Go Somewhere Else” – AEW Superstar Reacts to WWE Releasing Over a Dozen NXT Superstars
This Friday while SmackDown was airing, WWE released several superstars from NXT, 205 Live, and even a referee. How many superstars you’re wondering? Vince McMahon’s company released 12 superstars on a random Friday. Veteran wrestler Mark Henry appeared in an interview to address the situation.
This decision has clearly stirred the internet and many wrestling personnel has given their views on it.
However, the wrestlers who got released took to Twitter and let their fans know this decision does not take make them sad. In fact, they let the fans know that they’re gonna come back strong wherever they go.

Especially, Bronson Lee who said wrote that WWE does not know what they’ve done, he further tagged various wrestling promotions like AEW, NJPW, ROH, and IMPACT Wrestling.
Mark Henry says the wrestlers should focus on securing their jobs outside of WWE
Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Henry talked about the recent massive firings from WWE, he makes a valid point of wrestlers fearing to lose their jobs.
Henry further stated that wrestlers should take a “preemptive strike” and should consider some other promotions where they can do well and have a more secure job as a wrestler.

“I just saw, somebody said, ‘NXT has just been released by the WWE.’ And I giggled a little bit. It wasn’t a laugh, it was a [giggles]. That shouldn’t be a thing, man, I shouldn’t giggle at that, but the point about it is that there have been so many releases that people are starting to look at, ‘Damn man, the writing’s on the wall. I could be out of here at any time. Maybe I need to focus on job security. Maybe I need to go ahead and take a preemptive strike and not re-sign, and go somewhere else.’”

However, Henry also said there are other promotions that are always hitting wrestlers from around the world.
He further explained it in a much simpler context saying one should either stay with the biggest promotion or go somewhere else and help the company grow.
