Lady Gaga channels old school Hollywood glam as she returns to fabulous fashion choices

Lady Gaga is back to slay with her fabulous fashion in New York, having taken a rather surprising detour via a tracksuit earlier this week.

The star, who’s been serving these looks while in town for her concerts with music legend Tony Bennett, reverted to old school Hollywood glam as she was spotted on the street in Manhattan on Saturday.

In a body-hugging, pale yellow sheath dress with neon straps and pipping detail, Gaga was oozing style.

A quieter look than, say, a dress made of meat or towering nine-inch platform stilettos, the singer-songwriter and actress still knows how to pull off the appeal of a more toned-down look.

The 35-year-old opted to accessorise her flattering dress with a bubblegum pink handbag and nude, pointed-toe stilettos.

Having appeared in one of her favourite bleached blonde wigs during the performances, the Oscar-winner wore her hair natural and piled up in a large bun.

The large black sunglasses, diamond earrings and slick of dark pink lipstick completed her look as she walked from her car.

The Paparazzi singer finished her second and final concert at Radio City Music Hall with Tony, 95, on Thursday night.

One Last Time: An Evening with Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga was a special two-show engagement for the pair, celebrating their friendship and Tony’s recent birthday, as well as marking the last time they will perform together.

Songs the duo performed together after their separate sets included The Lady is a Tramp, Anything Goes and It Don’t Mean a Thing (If It Ain’t Got That Swing), before Tony closed the concert with a rendition of his 1962 classic I Left My Heart in San Francisco.

Icon Tony is set to retire from performing following his Alzheimer’s diagnosis in 2016. However, he and Gaga have announced a second album together, Love For Sale, which will release on October 1 and features a collection of Cole Porter songs.

The duo first recorded together for 2014’s album Cheek to Cheek and have an enduring friendship.

Saturday also saw the release of the music video for their single I Get a Kick Out of You, which shows the pair dressed sharply as they perform the song in the recording studio.
