Bianca Andreescu Breaks Down During Intense Training Session for National Bank Open 2021

Canadian tennis star Bianca Andreescu is one of the most talented players on the Tour. She has managed to win a Grand Slam title as a teenager. She had beaten Serena Williams in the final of the US Open 2019, making her one of the youngest players to achieve that feat.

Recently, Bianca Andreescu was seen training to prepare herself for the upcoming US Open Series. However, in the clip as she was performing a drill, she strained herself and as a result, was left in tears. She was performing the drill under a fitness expert who can be seen in the clip.

Bianca Andreescu and her troubles

It is no secret that the young Canadian star has been a victim of injuries in recent times. Right from the beginning of the 2020 season, she missed most of it due to a knee injury. That year, she did not compete in a single Grand Slam event.

Reflecting on her season so far, she started off in Melbourne and ended up losing in the second round at the Australian Open. Unfortunately, she suffered opening round defeats at the French Open and the Wimbledon Championships.

Now that the focus has shifted to the US Open Series, she will be looking to get herself going. As a tennis fan, one hopes to see her regain full fitness and display the tennis that helped her win the US Open

At the moment, she is training for the upcoming WTA 1000 event in Montreal. She is the defending champion and it will be interesting to see if she will be able to defend her title. We wish her the very best for the upcoming tournaments and the rest of the season.
