The boosted four-star characters are Sayu, Diona, and Xinyan.

Diona is a great support character and can provide heal as well as a shield for the team. Furthermore, her C6 gives a 300 elemental mastery bonus if you stand on her burst. Naturally, if you can get more constellations of Diona in Yoimiya’s banner, everything will be worth it.

However, Xinyan is quite opposite of Diona. The major reason being all her damage comes from physical damage and it would take you a lot of time to build her around physical damage. Especially investing so much for a four-star character is mainly considered as a waste of time. Moreover, the major reason that players are skipping her banner is Yoimiya’s banner placement.

Yoimiya is not a bad character herself and will be very useful for a long time. The only reason is that the upcoming banner will feature Raiden Shogun, and many players want to pull her. She is the next archon in the story and is a very strong damage dealer.
