WATCH: Ryan Blaney and Austin Cindric Goof Around During an Interview

During an Instagram Room interview, Ryan Blaney and Austin Cindric successfully distracted Joey Logano. The two Penske and future Penske driver spoke on a number of subjects. While Logano talked about road courses, Blaney decided to fiddle around with his Instagram filters.

Needless to say, Cindric broke character first, and Logano soon followed. Meanwhile, Blaney had plenty of fun cycling through various Instagram filters. Finally, he settled on a Master Yoda filter that remained for a while. Soon afterward, Austin Cindric decided that he was not getting left out of the fun.

Fortunately, Logano managed to resist the temptation of playing around with the filters. However, he did lament, “This is what I got to deal with next year. This is my life. Anyway, we’re excited about the road courses, they should be fine.”

How did Austin Cindric and company perform this weekend?

It was a day to forget for the Team Penske drivers at Watkins Glen International. The highest-placed driver was Blaney in 14th place, while Logano was 22nd and Brad Keselowski was 35th. Luckily, Austin Cindric was able to save face in the Xfinity Series when he snagged third place behind Ty Gibbs and AJ Allmendinger.

Coming back to the Cup Series, Kyle Larson notched up his fifth win of the season. In the process, he overtook Denny Hamlin for the lead of the regular series championship. Hamlin himself could only muster fifth fastest at Watkins Glen International. Meanwhile, Chase Elliott put in an impressive run from the back of the pack to finish 2nd, ahead of Martin Truex Jr and Kyle Busch.

Logano’s 22nd place may have been disappointing, but he can take comfort in the fact that he is already in the playoffs. The same applies for Blaney and Keselowski, the latter of whom plummeted down the order to 10th in the championship.
