PlayStation 5: Sony Confirm Fantastic News for GTA V Fans Waiting for an Upgrade

Caught in 4K! PlayStation confirms details about the “expanded and enhanced” Grand Theft Auto V for PlayStation 5.

After the game’s official release in 2013, GTA V is back with another version, and this time it’s for the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The German PlayStation Blog confirmed last month that the game will release in 4K and with 60fps.

Ever since the announcement of the re-release of the game, the developers, Rockstar Games, had not disclosed any significant information. The game will release on November 11, 2021, and until now, all we knew was; new cars were coming to the game.

Rockstar has already teased a lot of new exclusive content for the game, including what might be an expansion in the journey of Michael, Franklin, or Trevor, but nothing concrete. The devs have not given an idea of what to expect from the game.

GTA V next-gen: what we know

PlayStation has partnered up with Rockstar Games for the re-release of the game. They revealed that the new version will be feature 4K resolution supported by 60 frames per second, via their official German blog. Rumors suggest that the game will use a revamped engine to create a smoother experience for its players.

Courtesy of PlayStation, PS Plus subscribers will have free access to the online standalone version upon launch. It will offer cross-progression in the new consoles, enabling you to continue your sinful ways. In the last re-release, Rockstar added a first-person mode which seemed to make the fans more than happy. Obviously, they do not joke around when it comes to new versions of a game.

The developers also stated that there will be future updates coming to the game on the get-go to patch and things as time goes on.

With no serious information about the gameplay or the content, we just hope that the new features do justice to the full-price release of the game. Or at least till GTA VI comes around.
